Four and a half years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer. In the months that followed I often wondered if things would go back to the way they had been, back to normal. I discovered that things wouldn't/couldn't go back to the way they had been because I wasn't the same person I had been. I had a new normal. Two days ago I read the following

Do you know the date you received your diagnosis? I believe I got the news in June 2005.
