I was going through the S4 deleted scenes today and came across the ones for 4.10. I'd seen the one with Castiel and Uriel a while ago, but I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed it and how it is very much relevant to my interests. Dude, I just caught up on SPN the other day, in time for the premiere, and I was SOOOOOOO bummed about Uriel. He was awesome and I liked his dynamic with Castiel.

I know! And in true SPN fashion, the second they give you an intriguing bit of personal information about a character (he's the funniest angel in the garrison!), they make him evil and/or kill him *cough* HEDRICKSEN *cough*

Plus, the funniest angel in the garrison thing was so hysterical I was crying from laughing so hard. Seriously, I had to rewind it and then pause because I was still too busy laughing to pay attention to anything else going on. CASTIEL I THINK YOU'RE THE FUNNIEST ONE BUT NOT ON PURPOSE SO YOU DON'T REALIZE IT.

Ahhhhh, I just love how he says that! So matter-of-factly, and also like Dean could just go up to some random angel and say, "Hey, I heard Uriel's funny. Is that true?" XD OH CAS.

I really like the lighting there a lot. Bizarrely, between the lighting and the trees, I kept thinking about the scene in Fellowship of the Ring, when they're first walking into Lorien XD

Me too :( As I said above, it's just like the writers to give you something to start to like a character for real, then they kill him/make him evil. Or both! Stop doing that, writers. It's old now.
