I really liked the two of them in "Showdown," with Victor being very obviously upset over Martin and Jack trying to be professional and understanding (and still keep Victor from screwing up). I date the beginning of my Victor-love from there, I think.

Thanks! On the whole, Jack's broader behavioral patterns irritate me (screwing Sam over,m screwing Viv over [and how is it that he's alive?]) but there are moments when I do very much like him, and I try to write him like that.

You know? This is assuming a really serious tone, especially from Danny's point of view, he is so scared, and so insecure:

Was Martin unhappy? Would Danny know if he was?

because this is the question someone who really is in love would make to himself, and I really loved Danny in that moment.

Also, Martin jocking about coffee and trying to outsmart Dr Morris *g*. Must tell you, as usual your work feel just right and I'm so curious about where you are going with this...

Thank you! I think Danny would definitely be asking himself that question... because he's crazy about Martin, of course, but also because Martin never really tells anyone when something's wrong with him. And Danny's still at that place, I think, where he's not entirely certain how much Martin trusts him.

I'm so curious about where you are going with this...
