Ugh, no writing updates... Only had one day of inspiration because my other planned days of writing were disrupted... So hopefully I can get more work done since I have a 3-day weekend coming up! Yippee! One more day of work and then I'm off~ Catching up on things as my work schedule realigns itself back to normal. And since I have flex days left

I'm going to get one soon too, but I'm going to wait until after x-mas. It's not that I want it, but my current phone is going bad, and the prices for plans have finally come down to a reasonable price.

You don't have to get the iPhone if you don't like it since there are other models of smartphones.
I have been watching the prices for the last couple years, but they haven't seemed to move too much from where they currently are. Each company is pretty close in what they offer too, so i figured it would be easiest to stay with the current provider since everything is already setup - bill payments, etc.

I think I'm going to get the Samsung Galaxy Mini. It has 16G of storage and I can add a 64G Memory card if I fill that up with music.

Nice! Depending on how much music you have, 16gb can fill up pretty fast, so it's nice that you can add memory if needed. Obviously iPhone doesn't have that option. But I have other ways around that since my iPod has 32gb. I already have a decent collection of music on there~

I can live without Internet for about a week, but I can't live without music.

Hehe~ It won't be totally "do nothing" since I'm hanging out with a friend. We're going to try to start on Christmas shopping. Also going to set aside some time to work on my writing! Haven't touched it since last week =__=;;

Ugh, I totally can't live without internet. I feel crazy when that happens! But definitely can't live without music either. It's such a good pick-me-up!

I actually need internet at work - if it goes down, I go home! We're allowed to do shopping and social networking though, as long as it doesn't interfere with working - no blocked websites, it's great!

I finally broke down and got a smartphone two years ago, after I got stranded in the airport; now I don't know how I lived without it! Not an iPhone though, too expensive...

Aww lucky! I used to have free access at my other job, but now it's so crazy. Totally get the big brother feel when it comes to stuff like that! I mean, I get paranoid about checking my own mail on their network. I don't want to get in trouble because of stuff like that, but it feels too strict too. It's not like I'm playing around more than working (though that is the case with some others).

What kind of phone did you get? The timing kind of worked out for me since the iPhone 6 just came out. It's a little cheaper for the older model, but not free since I got the 5s.
