Taking the Plunge
Ugh, no writing updates... Only had one day of inspiration because my other planned days of writing were disrupted... So hopefully I can get more work done since I have a 3-day weekend coming up! Yippee! One more day of work and then I'm off~ Catching up on things as my work schedule realigns itself back to normal. And since I have flex days left for the year (2 to be exact), I'm probably going to cut short my work weeks for the last half of the month! :D
Anyways... I'm really annoyed with my work place... haha~ It took them FOREVER to get wi-fi in our building, but the stupid thing is that they block certain things because the internet is "for business purposes only".
GRR... I had my iPod hooked up to the network, and managed to play a few of my games anyways... But now they blocked it so I can't play during those free moments!! WTH!? I know you're not "supposed to", but seriously... Other people go house hunting and stuff during work hours. Why can't I play my games for a few minutes here and there?! (~__~;;)
Not to mention... I grew up in the generation where we're "dependent" on the internet! Lol! Like nowadays, where kids can't be separated from their phones... I'm pretty much one of them. No internet = depression/anxiety attacks! And now they've ripped away my crutch! So upset.
So... I've always wanted an iPhone, though I've been resisting for the longest time - they're expensive! But because of the above and the fact that my current phone sucks, I've finally decided to give in and get one. The plans for data are kind of... ACK! But seriously, I feel incomplete without internet connectivity! T__T
But now I feel a little sad I didn't splurge for the heck of it and get those PP cases! No Shinya case for me... Boo~ I'll have to hunt for something pretty/cute! Darn them and their stupid monitoring... Grr!
