One day, I will work in a library that is fully staffed. That day will be glorious. Until then...

This is what work feels like lately:



Reference: smaller by 3/4! Except that we're considering stuff from that date to be relatively 'current' compared to most of the things that are leaving. I feel a little bad using this icon, with the state of our reference section. Thank heavens for Oxford Reference Online!

First official week of work done, and I am exhausted. Not really because of work things (although being there until 9:30 and then having to be there again at 8:30 the next morning is not the funnest thing ever), but because today was a long day. Thanksgiving was slow and a touch boring, as they often are. We drove to Kentucky, into the land of horses, to spend Wednesday night, Thursday, and Friday morning at my grandparents house.
