My dad had a tube change today and is returning home having had no infection!

\o/

My mother just came down the stairs singing: "The storm is coming, the storm is coming! With the thunder and the lightening! Are you scared, or maybe frightened?"

Given the quality of both singing and lyrics, I had to answer "Yes."

I took half a day off work on Thursday to spend the morning/afternoon with my dad before bringing him home just in time to head into work at 5. I got home from work Thursday night to find him sick and vomitting again, so after a bit of dithering my mom and I loaded up for another ER trip ( Read more... )

Not doing well. Threw up this morning. Chills, shakes. The Big Wig Liver Team will be discussing his case at their noon meeting. They think there may be another stricture above the current tube placement. They'll look at films and see if the can tell. We'll be here a few ( Read more... )
