No, it's not lazy. Fanfic is whatever you want it to be, and one of my main rules about it is that in the end, it should be fun. I have a job. Fanfic is my fun.
Work is so stressful at times, it's a relief to lose it all for an hour or so but still give stuff back to people in the process.
And right now, I am having fun. I hadn't realised how much I'd missed writing until I started to do it regularly again. If I was able to put the number of words I've written in the last year and a bit for fun toward a degree or something, I'd have a bloody masters!
