okay, somehow I missed you posting part one *pouts* but now I've read one and two together so now it's okay. I love how Jack's voice is all husky with emotion or over or underuse. And I just love the last paragraph

Glad you managed to find it. The last paragraph was a funny thing; it didn't want to be written in detail like the rest of the chapter, but that's probably the Whiskey talking. Knappogue Castle 1951 actually exists, and costs a ridiculous amount of money...

which means Jack and Siannon would definitely enjoy it then...

I'm sure they would...

And here's your proof of existence. It now costs about £1000 per bottle!

Very nice. And I quite like that Methos is present without being actually there.

Plus, I can totally see Jack at an Eisteddfod!

Glad you like. Methos is never very far away, even when he's not there; he's got under everyone's skin. *g*

And IIRC, Eisteddfod 2008 is in Cardiff...

This is amazing. I am fairly new at reading fanfic and the concept of the crossover was...well, strange is a kind way to put it. Then I found your stuff and I am amazed at how well you make it work! Especially since I have this...ahem...crush on Methos from way back...And your original character is fantastic! Most of all, I love your Ianto. He's so often turned into a wibbly wimp; you make him into a strong man who can take matters into his own hands when he needs to but can also relinquish control when he needs to. Lovely.
May I friend you? I want to keep track of each chapter as it appears.

Thanks so much for commenting. I'm really pleased I've managed to lure you deeper into the world of crossovers! It can be a strange, wonderful and addictive place. *g*

You can catch the other stories in this series if you want as they are mostly linked from here but any stories relating to just Siannon O'Niall are linked from my OC table (6 prompts out of 25 done so far).

I will warn you now that if you want to read The Mystery We Are, which is the fic that introduced Methos into the Torchwood world, you'll need a fair amount of time as it is rather long (36 parts). The rest of the stories don't sprawl that much ( ... )

Yes, I did get to Dunvegan. I'm still digging through my old photo boxes so I can scan old pictures.. I didn't get to the Cioch. The day our group was going up to the Cuillin we ran into one of those famous mists :-(. Even experienced climbers were being warned off.
Funny, you identify Duncan with the MacLeods of Dunvegan -- I tend to think of him as a MacLeod of Lewis who held Assynt after being evicted from the islands. There's something about our Highlanders that speak of hard times...
As far as your other fiction -- let me feed your ego a little: I was up until 3 am last night! Triptych utterly ROCKS.

Pas de Trois, of course. Sleep four hours and work ten a few days in a row and your minds...pffft. Dead in the corner...
