Oooh, some of those look goood. I have to peruse all the new prompts and quotes and whatnot that have been put up.

I have a prompt for you:

Highlander/Whoverse(+Merlin if you want), Methos + or / Jack (+ or / Merlin), "Love to stay and chat, but...."

I don't usually do modern/reincarnation AUs but that prompt of yours made a bunny prick up its ears. Don't know whether to hug you or curse you.

Doing (or at least thinking) both is acceptable!

I haven't checked all prompts yet but will soon:)

I love the Merlin, Hunith prompt and the Baskerville werewolf prompt. I'm pretty sure I can't write the last but I'm excited to see some fills.

I'm really looking forward to this. It's perfect for me because I always struggle with english pieces and they're usually quite short. So thanks for pimping out the comm. I wouldn't have found it otherwise.

I doubt I'll write for the Baskerville prompt myself, but I do like it. The Hunith and Merlin one is a definite possibility - my Highlander/Merlin AU has already established letter writing as something that is done, and in that universe, Hunith is Gaius' baby sister.

Consci is the most relaxed fest around, I think. It completely lacks the pressure of the gift fests and big bangs and the 'has to be less than 2k words' rule is a big part of that. Because I love it so much, I always have to do a bit of pimpage so I can spread the word.

Sherlock/ Dr Who; Sherlock/John (if you like); Mycroft actually runs Unit & has been keeping alien etc from Sherlock for years.

You are evil and konw how my brain works far too well.

That would make Mycroft a colleague of The Brig - and Kate.

Evil, Evil woman (not Kate, you).

Do they mean Ayala in the Voyager prompt?

I'm still rewatching the show (I'm sure I would have mentioned it) and I love sitting up on a Saturday night watching the episodes again. Weirdly I know I could find my tapes and watch ahead but I'm happy with three episodes a week. Seven's just started and as much as I miss Kes (more so now, oddly!) I'm really enjoying Seven's evolution. I'm also finding myself much more able to enjoy Janeway this time around. It was never that I didn't like her, I loved her, but I feel different about her. Like I could write her - I always had trouble writing her back in the day, I'm not really sure why, I don't think it's all that I wrote so much slash ( ... )

Oh, waffle away. :) It's good to waffle about Voyager sometimes, it never received the love it deserved IMO (except from us mad people). Funnily enough, although I have dvds of both Highlander and Voyager, I always find myself watching reruns (it was the Highlander ep Till Death last night), there's just something about watching it 'live' on telly that makes a difference ( ... )

Since you ask.... fennishjournal November 22 2012, 20:38:28 UTC
I would really love a little piece on Lestrade and his wild youth in the London clubs. I imagine him coming to London to join the Met at 18, with his battered copy of Auden's poems in his backpack that got him through school as the only gay kid and then hitting the gay scene and just going NUTS for a bit. (And then later he discovers his bisexuality by falling in love with a friend's sister and marries her but that is a different story).

So: Sherlock: Lestrade, wild oats.
