I just got back from an overnight trip with the choir to Yale. We were performing as part of the NCCO (National...Collegiate...Choral...Organization XIII? I think? Maybe?) conference, so we also got to watch some other choirs perform. They were all pretty good, although everyone I talked to said we were the best thing they had seen. That was a ( Read more... )

Glad you had fun, and got to go to a nice place. =D

Indeed. It was a nice change of pace from Buttfuck, PA. Oddly enough, the choir that performed immediately after us was from the University of Missouri. The slogan of their music department was, "Mizzou means Music." I loled.

Oh my gosh, you've never been to a Buffalo Wild Wings? You poor child. I love them so much. Especially on Tuesdays. Since on Tuesdays they reward us poor mortals with like, 32 cent wings. Winnnn.

I love Ethiopian food, nomnom. Lentils and shit and daww. That bread.. is crazy. Like usually when I get it I'm like, oh I'm never going to be full from all of these little cups of smashed up vegetables but then... the bread happens and then you're ded. True story bro.

You should've just laid in the aisle man. Teach those people who's boss.

ZOMG Buffalo Wild Wings was EPIC. Also epically EXPENSIVE. We ended up with a group of seven, and didn't realize that they figure in gratuity for parties of six or more. Our total bill was over 170 dollars, and we all ended up dirt poor. Everyone on the trip got 50 bucks in per diem for meals, and at least half of mine went towards paying for that one. But DAMN was the food good.

Wow, that sounds awesome!! I'm glad you had such a good time~

And if you want good food, try coming to New York one day. If you thought New Haven food was good... it certainly isn't bad, but New York will blow you away. XD

Damn arrogant New Yorkers...XD. The Ethiopian place we ate at got a review by the New York times, so I don't want to hear it! Besides, New York is fucking expensive...

And anyway, it was less about the place and more about eating something that wasn't prepared in the Mansfield University dining hall. They aren't actually sure what food is there.
