Petting The Squirrel....

Yes, I am a little special ;0) I have chosen to keep a squirrel as a pet. The original video is much lighter than this, and I will be trying to edit it to see if I can lighten it up. This was taken just after I got back from Venezuela on December 23rd.

This was a terrible story that I really thought was going to have a terrible ending.

=) She is a big dork! She is so needy, it is almost abnoxious. I have never had a pet more hellbent on getting attention the way she is. She even likes those little berry toes to be kissed. She stretches out her feet when she is in my hand on her back, just so I will kiss them.

How did you get her? Is she from the wild or domesticated at all?

Sorry, just read your previous entries. How has the squirrel reacted with domesticated life? Any troubles?

I've been mulling the idea of a pet squirrel for a few years now...

I would honestly say that it is not the best idea in the world. It has been quite hard. She has destroyed many things that I own, including cabinets, cameras, remote controls, cell phones when I have let her out of my sight briefly

I want something fuzzy and cute, like a kitten, but will pay attention to me, unlike a cat.
