Indistinct ramblings at 11 O'clock at night

Today was a good day. The kids and I accomplished much cleaning and straightening of the house. For whatever reason, Zoe got a fire lit under her and took it upon herself to rearrange her room. With just a bit of help from me it was sparkling after a few hours of work. The room looks great now and she's happy as a clam

I love baby stories. They make me feel happy and calm, sort of like you're supposed to feel when you pet a dog. Through them, I can enjoy babies vicariously without, you know, having to have another one of my own.

And yay for a clean house! Talk about feeling calm and happy...

Seriously, I can't think of anything that calms me more than a clean house. It doesn't even have to be uber clean, just straightened and tidied. My blood pressure immediately goes down 2 levels.
