Jesus, why in gods name would you ever, ever in a million years get chai flavoured mate? That sounds like the most god awful thing ever...

It's actually really good. It doesn't taste like Chai at all, it mostly just adds a little bit of spice and tones down the fish-food taste of Yerba Mate while having the same amount of caffeine and such (I haven't had very good experiences with the taste of straight up Yerba Mate).

uhhg. I still can't wrap my brain around that. I can see why a less mate-y tasting mate would be better, but chai just doesn't seem like the flavour I would add to tone it down.
