So hearing that, from Blaine, at that moment, out of nowhere, without a grand declaration but so simple and heartfelt and absolutely real... He's breathless. He's in shock. He's near tears and trying to keep it all in, and when he says "I love you too" it's such a moment of "Of course I do - I have for so long. You know that right?" and Blaine just... smiles, almost with this little shrug of "Yeah, I know", and goes back to staring.
I was waiting to comment until I rewatched - and it is SUCH a 'of course, don't you know?' moment from Kurt. anyone who says it's not reciprocated needs to watch it again STAT. in those few minutes they showed us SO MUCH about Klaine, even with basically very little plot movement since the transfer other than PQ - I'm not as worried now. I have more faith they're not going to eff this up. In RIB I trust. (at least for Klaine)
In approximately two hours total time this season (and now I need a Klaine movie), this amazing couple has been developed and given to us.Oh my god, I wish I still remembered how to

I saw people saying this, or commenting on Kurt's so-called "hesitation," and I was just BAFFLED. First of all, boy's got a mouthful of coffee; would they like that he answer immediately and spew coffee in his boyfriend's face? Of course not! Second, he's momentarily shocked - he never thought he would EVER hear those words from another boy, at least not until he left Lima. He's loved Blaine for so long and is clearly thrilled to hear him say it back.
I suspect some of this "concern" is from shippers of certain other pairings trying to cling to scraps of hope. It's clearly for naught, though.
I have so many feelings about this that I don't even know where to start. I think what I LOVED most about this whole scene was that it was so understated. There was no grand gesture, no Gap-style seranade, it was so simple - and, I think, all the more moving because of it. I squealed out loud, not gonna deny it. I definitely wasn't expecting it - in fact, I'd resigned myself to a Klaine free episode. So to get, not just some Blaine action, but this wonderful, heartfelt scene, I just...*has no words*
And YES! I adored seeing Blaine's 'sassy' gay side come out. I noticed it a little in the prom episode when he was asking Burt about his prom outfit, and I could watch Darren Criss' hands all day long.
There was a lot about this episode that left me feeling very...meh! Namely the whole Finchel plotline which really is just sooo overdone, now. But this scene, and the Samcedes more than made up for it. If we don't get Samcedes/Klaine double dates next season I shall cry :/
Has there ever been a more perfect pairing on television than Kurt Hummel and Blaine Anderson?
The answer to this is no. Never.
Your thoughts are my thoughts. 100%
And everything you've said proves how well they wrote these characters/this relationship. The most important thing still remains that Kurt has someone who cares and will support him. Their relationship has felt earned all the way through (as Darren so stressed it had to be) and the "I Love You" couldn't have been more them - because as you say - they've been saying it without words nearly all season.
I can't even. I can't adequately express my love for them or how much they've changed me and made me a better person. How well acted they are - and how proud Darren and Chris should be. I can't explain to you how glad I am that this couple exists on TV.
