Am being terribly unproductive today. I have been putting together a playbook for the Cynnabar band and ran across something called Audiveris, which takes images of sheet music and produces MusicXML. It seems to work at least as well as some of the commercial music-scanning software I've tried, but the interface is pretty painful. The dream is to
