for some reason, i forget why, i was a bit disappointed in this last book...i think there seemed to be a lack of character development or something that struck me as not as good as some of his others...i'm guessing that you didn't feel that though :)

You know, there might not have been quite as much character development as the last one. Except for Murph, although I'm not sure she changes so much as just does more of what she naturally does anyway. I was surprised she didn't accept the sword, but I'm half guessing that she'll get fired after getting involved in something else she can't explain, and she'll take it up. She'd make a good Knight of the Cross.

Ooh. I read your comment and immediately scurried off to read the 3 teaser chapters. The scene with Thomas in the beginning had me giggling...the fake French accent and the comment about Morgan not crossing the street to piss on Dresden if he were on fire.
