Reading one's own LJ entries can still come as a surprise - case in point, I used to be like this, and though it was written one-and-a-half years ago, it's so irrepressibly genki and high-on-life that I'm amazed at how I've changed since then

I used to think so too -- the more things change the more they change, that is. Until I came full circle and realised my favourite state was my old self before all the pessimism, and emo, and cynicism, and all that. I like being able to see the silver lining on the dark cloud, and more importantly, the bright blue sky around it. :D

AND YEAH. The bright blue sky is the most amazing thing ever.
And this sounds really crazy, but one of my favourite sappy lines is, "It takes both rain and sun to make a rainbow."

!! XDD I loved Constantine so much. And had a horribly huge folder of Keanu Reeves photographs. And loved John/Chas. I was violently into that fandom for a brief period of time, and I think I wrote some of my best reviews there. *grin* AND SO VERY MUCH SHIIINY, INDEED.
