How is he feeling nowÉ How is the wound on his legÉ On the bright side, if nothing but skin bacteria grew in his blood culture, the antibiotics must have killed whatever was causing the infection, which is what you want.
Urinary tract infections can sometimes cause blood sepsis.
Is that wound on his leg largeÉ Has it been there a long time (chronic) or is it recent and healingÉ Diabetics are notoriously slow healers. It was one of the things that made me suspect my dad was diabetic (and he is).
