Fuck. This is the most truly angsty story I have read yet in this match. There's something about it - about the reality of it, the humanity of it - that hits me.

It's really easy to forget the reality of what killing would be like, and Arthur's reaction was understandable and believable. And, oh - Eames. Why?

I already left all my flail in your doc for all the little pieces that I love about this fic. But I want to reiterate how human this is. And "I thought it would be harder" followed by throwing up. Ohhh, Arthur. There's some deeper part of my heart that goes out to him here than usually gets pulled from me when I read fic.
