So we saw Prince of Persia today, and despite its obvious problems (Jake Yillenhoolahay is the closest person bar MAYBE one to Persian in the film, it's not exactly Oscars fare, etc), we are trying to find evidence for the argument that it may be the first good video game to film adaptation. Plus the first half of it was full of gamer-service

As for looking Persian, Eran was impressed when the saw the poster for the movie that they found someone that could pass for Persian (I'm assuming it was Jake Gyllenhaal) (Eran is half Persian, so I'll take his word for it). As for movies made from video games, Mortal Kombat is my guilty pleasure. And I like to pretend that Pirates of the Caribbean was based on Monkey Island. (Oh man. Why do I suddenly think it would be a good idea to turn King's Quest into a movie?)

Haha I'm glad to know he looks at least a little authentic. It makes the whole venture sit a little easier. Oh man Mortal Kombat is so hilarious - I especially love Raiden's maniacal laughter when they're still on the boat XD I can get behind PotC being Monkey Island...it's certainly much closer to that than anything to do with the rides!

LOL we also saw Sands of Time this weekend. I had never played the game, but I did enjoy it for hilarity's sake. :3

Haha I can respect that - it was definitely good for hilarity XD I especially enjoyed Alfred Molina :D
