I have PMS. I ate too much veg and rice yesterday and have had a dire protein craving all day. I also tend to be low on blood sugar if I don't eat between work and gym, and have a short useful attention span before I start babbling and accidentally setting things on fire*. Kind of, yes, though I can't read the phrase "pigs in a blanket" without getting a bit nauseous. I have a story involving a seven-year-old me and a morning flight to Houston in the days of free (and vile) airplane meals.

Enjoy. :) They were quick, too... only about half an hour, start to nom, including messing around with the grinder.

Hm, marinara sauce would be good, too... YEAH!

I was originally setting out to make piroshky. You could also fill with grated cabbage, cheese, etc etc etc. I just haven't really figured out the spice blend of Slavic foods. I'm a bad Slav.

Yummy! I'm a veggie myself, but this would "veggie-ize" very easily without spoiling the taste.

And yes, a light but tangy horseradish sauce to counterbalance the food sounds about right.

I'm an ex-veggie. I think it would work pretty well with GimmeLean sausage or Soyrizo. I eat vegetarian about half the time now, and the last two days have have been major meat cravings.
