Summary: Adstringendum installed a new deep end in the community pool. Killua's testing it out.

"Son of a-" Despite all the crap that has happened in the past week Frau removed himself from his safe haven for this crap. Something was seriously wrong with Killua and it needed to be addressed. But what he saw as he searched wasn't exactly pleasant. He was at the end of his rope with all the mind snapping that had been happening lately and seeing Killua like this only frustrated him more.

Something, somewhere, whispered to him that this wouldn't be a very good idea, but he wasn't going to stand around as Killua destroyed the already trashed city and mowed people down. So when he saw the white haired boy off in the distance he summoned the Zaiphon he knew he would need and dashed towards him.

"Killua! Stop!"

As soon as the words were out of Frau's mouth, he would find a rock hurtling toward his head. It was a clear answer. If the asshole wanted him to stop, he could stop him himself.

He doesn't even bother letting loose the Zaiphon to deflect the rock. Instead he holds up a hand and obliterates the thing just by letting it connect with the power building around his fists. Which he promptly lets go as a warning shot, carving wide gashes into the earth around Killua but not actually touching him.

"Don't make me hurt you Killua."

This one... This one was serious, he noted as he inspected the damage to the ground around him through his peripheral vision. He wanted to stop him that badly. But no matter who he was and no matter his reasons, he must know that Killua couldn't stop. Not now. If Frau was with them, then Frau had to go down.

He took a low stance, moving into it slowly, purposefully. "Why not? Makes it easier on you, right? I brought it on myself. That's what you're gonna say next, isn't it? Go ahead. It'll make you feel better."

Frau slides from his standing position to one of defense. He wouldn't take out the scythe, not yet. The less slicing he had to do the better. But judging by Killua's strength and how he naturally flowed into his position, he just might have to.

"No actually. I was gonna say that you're being a blind, self-centered, little brat and I'm only here because I give a damn about you. When I say I don't want to hurt to I mean it." He pauses. Words hadn't stopped him before, and they likely wouldn't now, "But if I need to hurt you to stop you from doing the same to other people because of this then I will. So stop. Go home."

It was the only answer Killua bothered to give before he leaped forward, kicking off from the pavement to aim five razor-sharp nails at Frau's neck.

"Dammit." It was more of a huff as he took a step back and raised an arm to block. When Killua's nails cut in to his skin he staggered back, shocked for only a split second before he let loose a blast of power much like the one before to push the kid away. He inscribed it with words not meant to maim. For now he would still try to keep Killua in one piece.

He landed lightly after being pushed back but immediately took off again, determined not to waste a second. This time, sparks of electricity formed around his hand as he moved in for Frau's shoulder from behind.

Killua punched right through his shoulder. Out of reflex Frau grabbed the hand as he screamed. The power he had been containing burst forth, surrounding him in a flurry of attempted protection. It marred up the ground around them and would do the same to Killua if he couldn't get away.

With his arm trapped, Killua called upon all the instinct of a feral cat. The power that burst toward him met another power as the electricity he was channeling made its way through his entire body and subsequently around it. The pressure overwhelmed him, but he didn't need to be able to think to use this technique. The electric field that spawned around him moved his body of its own accord, sending his legs jutting into Frau's spine with every intention to paralyze the man in order to force him to let go of his arm.

Frau's right arm seemed to move of its own accord, releasing Killua's hand and sending forth another blast of Zaiphon with maiming words inscribed in them. The blast pushed Frau forward but not quite fast enough to avoid the entirety of Killua's kick. It likely would bruise the muscle, but thankfully he moved fast enough to avoid too much damage to his spine. He staggered forward but wasted no time in whipping around to let out another blast of Zaiphon in an attempt to push Killua farther away.

Whatever force the guy was using was powerful, and Killua couldn't avoid the rush of it pushing him away, even tearing at his shirt and skin. It frustrated him endlessly.

Before, in East Gorteau, it had come to his attention that he never truly fought his battles. He fought only to run away. He stopped that, made sure to end it for Gon's sake. He could leave right now, escape and keep looking for Gon only to run into this guy again. Or he could prove just how determined he was by going all out and defeating this power here and now. His abilities weren't worth anything if he couldn't even help his one best friend ( ... )

The only coherent thought running through Frau's head was that he needed to stop Killua without killing him. Other people were going to get hurt if he didn't. And if he had to be the one to take the brunt of the damage to prevent further injury, he would gladly accept it. But no matter what he had set himself up for, nothing could have prepared him for what Killua would do next ( ... )
