Where: The old movie theatre/Rachel Berry's theatre.
Rating: R for death.
Summary: Rachel needed some time alone after all of her friends decided to go crazy for the week. It's too bad she was found by the wrong crazy friend.

Oh, Negi had known exactly where Rachel had gone. Ever since her intrusion on his conversation with Quinn, she had been on his nerves. Having to live in the same house with her and her annoying voice was pressing enough, but when she forced herself in on his conversations, trying to protect her little friends who deserve no manner of protection... Well, that had put her on his shit list. And right now, he wanted to take out a little repressed anger. And this time, he didn't just want to take it out on some random creature from the Wastes.

So, he'd followed her. Of course, not right away - he'd had to lock Edward in a closet and bind him in order to keep him from stopping him. Pesky alchemist. If he hadn't been Al's brother, he would have been the first to go.

As the music ended, a slow, ringing series of claps echoed through the theatre. Negi stepped out from his hiding place near the back, secreted away in a shadowy corner.

"Such a needy little song for a needy little girl."

When she heard the slow applause, as the record stopped playing, Rachel spun on her heel, eyes wide. She hadn't thought that anyone else would bother her in the theatre -- few people went there besides her. It was something of a safe haven, against the insanity of Adstringendum.

But apparently not tonight.

"I'm not needy," Rachel argued, even though she knew it wasn't true. "Aren't you supposed to be home, Negi?" she added, crossing her arms defensively, her eyes flickering over Negi's shoulder. "Where is Edward?" she asked briskly, knowing that he would never let Negi out alone, not while he was affected.

Negi decided to ignore that first comment. He didn't really care, anyway. He pushed away from the wall against which he'd been leaning and slowly made his way to the stage. Hair down, glasses missing, a black turtleneck and black slacks - he obviously wasn't acting normal. Not that the week's events hadn't already indicated that.

"I can be wherever I want, Rachel. Honestly, all of you treat me like such a child." The last word is spat out with a considerable amount of venom. He finally made his way to the stage, climbing the stairs. All slow, no rush to it.

"Edward is... a little tied up at the moment." A smirk. "Rest assured, he knows where I've gone."

"Tied up?" Rachel repeated, immediately moving backwards when Negi came onto the stage, her heart now pounding in her throat. She didn't think, for a moment, that Negi would actually harm her, but if he had actually attacked Edward --

Well, it wasn't as if she could defend herself, right? Negi would never actually hurt her. Affected or not. He was family.

"What do you want?" Rachel asked, the last word cracking ever so slightly.
