It had gotten to the point that Hermione was fairly certain she was using Harry and Ron's wands more than they did. At the moment, she was using Ron's, not wanting Harry to wander about the house looking for her and stumbling across his room too early. Keeping him out of there was enough work as it was.

For now, she managed to use the wand to pour water into the three mixed cups she'd found, carrying them out into the living room, since she knew Ron was there. "Hopefully not too much," she said, giving him the first cup. "At this point, most of the shared quarters are done; all that remains are our respective bedrooms."

Holding up the other cup, she called, "Harry, take a break and get a drink of water! I don't want to find you sprawled on the steps from heat exhaustion!"

The first person who compared her to Mrs. Weasley was going to have hell to pay.

Oh, Ron thought Hermione was acting like his mum, but he knew enough to keep his mouth shut and snicker when she wasn't near him enough to smack him. Which he did quite often today. When she came out though he grinned at her in thanks before taking the cup. "Brilliant," he responded, gulping some of it down immediately, "we'll fix yours up tomorrow, Hermione."

Snorting into his water as she called Harry in, he kept his attention on it before watching as his best mate came out from wherever he was hiding at the moment. Downing the rest of the cup quickly he smirked slightly.

"Drink it, anyway, we could all use a break," Ron said needlessly with a shrug, "and maybe a cooling charm or two. Who'd have thought this would take so long with magic."

Reaffirming her grasp on her own cup once the others had gone off to each of the boys, Hermione took a small sip of water as she moved to sit down besides Ron. She didn't sit too close to him, though; the last thing she wanted was to make Harry feel uncomfortable... or to give him any incentive to make her feel uncomfortable.

"Cooling charms; brilliant," Hermione complimented. "Thank you for volunteering, Ron." Normally, she'd do it herself, but as she was currently sans wand, that left it to one of the others for now.
