Characters: Xerxes Break + Open When: Dreamscape Event Where: In his dreams. Rating: Going to go with anything up to an R for violence. Summary: Beware the Jabberwock, my sons.
... a tea party? Al had been stepping along the path, growing increasingly worried about the things that seemed to be following him, though they were at a distance. Enough that he picked up speed every with every step.
Catching sight of Break, it somehow makes sense. Al firmly closes the gate and shuts the latch (for all the good it will do) and makes for that table, reaching out to take Break's hand.
"... we're in your head," he whispers. By now, he knows.
Fox doesn't like the creatures reaching for her one bit, so at the invitation she hurries forward. She shuts the gate and smiles, albeit awkwardly. Of all the places to end up, why here? Nonetheless, she moves to take a seat at the table he's inviting her to, though she doesn't really think it would be wise to sample anything he's serving. She knows too many faerie tales that have ended badly for doing so.
"I dunno," she deflected, though she did so with a smile. "Are you gonna keep me here forever if I eat anything?" Those sweets do look...so very nice, though...
Horst had been curiously watching one of the things approach, but Break's voice drew his attention and he obeyed. You don't ignore tones like that, do you?
He looked at the table arrangement and smiled thoughtfully. "Well. This is a much better reception than I'd expect."
The strange creatures don't scare Rhode particularly. But clearly the tea party is the more desirable destination to be at, and so she ducks a clawed and skips over a slashing talon, closing the gate and flinging herself into a seat at the table, looking at the host with wide, curious eyes.
"Rhode." She corrects, leaning her elbows on the table, knees on the chair so that she's reaching over to take a cupcake. Enticement one hundred percent effective.

"So we are! The question is- what happens if you drink the water?"
A butterfly flutters over the table, lovely and candy-coloured, overly vivid, like some more beautiful than beautiful version of the world.

"A tea party?" he asks softly, and holds out a hand towards the butterfly, entranced by the colors.

He instructs, sweetly, moving to pour him a cup.
"Cream or sugar?"

Yuca blinks, rubbing at his eyes to clear them, before nodding numbly and turning to close the gate.

He toes out the chair opposite him.
"Isn't it wonderful?"

He sits though, smiling despite himself.

The cupcakes on the table really are the loveliest looking little things. He tempts her with a plate of the sugary confections.
"Take a moment."

He dismisses, with a wave.
"It isn't that sort of teaparty."

"Mister Break, isn't it?"

He offers her a plate of cupakes, enticing her closer.
"Not at a teaparty like this."
Reply
"You don't look very tasty." But the cupcakes do.

But he holds the plate steady, and grins when she takes one, setting it down and nabbing one for himself.
