Riding on Kenpachi's shoulder, Yachiru was on top of the world, mistress of all she surveyed. Which admittedly was, just now, just a lot of ruined buildings and wrecked roads, not that different from Rukongai or from select parts of Sereitei after a particularly rowdy day for the Eleventh. But it was the principle of the thing. She stood tall, shaded her eyes and looked out like a true soldier on watch.

Candy. This time they were going to get it for sure. The candy that had defied her would not dare to just let Ken-chan's hands pass through, not if it knew what was good for it. It was calling her, that promised candy, she could hear it loud and clear. It was calling her toward -

"There!" She stretched out an arm and pointed straight ahead. Straight ahead was always a safe bet.

Straight ahead was a wall. Kenpachi shrugged and kicked it down, heading down the alley on the other side. It curved a little toward the right direction, so they might get there sometime.

"So wha' type 're ya gonna get when we get there? Got some picked out, 'r ya waiting ta see wha' actually showed up?"

He happily ran on through the streets, glad of the steady presence on his shoulder. She made him feel whole, like things were right in the world. Between having Yachiru, chances to fight just about anything out in the Waste, and knowing Unohana was around and interested, Kenpachi was as close to content as he could get.

"ALL of them!"

Yachiru squealed and clapped when the wall went down, as ever feeling triumphant as though she had anything to do with it. Mouse on the elephant's back and all that. She was rather happy with the idea of leaving a trail of dust behind them on the way to the candy shop.

Kenpachi and Yachiru were on the prowl. Let the heavens tremble.

"Gummies first! An' then the chocolate ones! An' the marshamllowy stuff! An' the black stringy bits! They'll be so so so good!" Her shiny pink reiatsu twinkled in anticipation. She could almost see the mall now.

"Heh. But not all a' once. Won't be a good idea. Don't want ya sick." She had smarts. She wouldn't eat too much, he was sure. But it never hurt to caution. Yachiru listened to him, for some reason he'd never figured out. It just... fit. And Kenpachi didn't see a reason to question things that fit.

They were also a rather formidable combo, fiery little midget and grinning giant. It was fun to see peoples' reactions to them.

He took note of the order, figuring he might have to find some things to use for sacks, but they'd make it work. "Marshmallowy stuff? Huh. Wha' 'bout tha sours?" That was what he'd munch on, a little.

Due to a couple of quick choices he didn't leave up to her, they were indeed getting close to the mall. He patted his pocket, checking the things he'd brought for trade. Of course, they stood a fair chance of being able to intimidate shopkeepers into 'trading,' too.
