(
The shop owner really didn't stand a chance. )
Candy. This time they were going to get it for sure. The candy that had defied her would not dare to just let Ken-chan's hands pass through, not if it knew what was good for it. It was calling her, that promised candy, she could hear it loud and clear. It was calling her toward -
"There!" She stretched out an arm and pointed straight ahead. Straight ahead was always a safe bet.

"So wha' type 're ya gonna get when we get there? Got some picked out, 'r ya waiting ta see wha' actually showed up?"
He happily ran on through the streets, glad of the steady presence on his shoulder. She made him feel whole, like things were right in the world. Between having Yachiru, chances to fight just about anything out in the Waste, and knowing Unohana was around and interested, Kenpachi was as close to content as he could get.

Yachiru squealed and clapped when the wall went down, as ever feeling triumphant as though she had anything to do with it. Mouse on the elephant's back and all that. She was rather happy with the idea of leaving a trail of dust behind them on the way to the candy shop.
Kenpachi and Yachiru were on the prowl. Let the heavens tremble.
"Gummies first! An' then the chocolate ones! An' the marshamllowy stuff! An' the black stringy bits! They'll be so so so good!" Her shiny pink reiatsu twinkled in anticipation. She could almost see the mall now.

They were also a rather formidable combo, fiery little midget and grinning giant. It was fun to see peoples' reactions to them.
He took note of the order, figuring he might have to find some things to use for sacks, but they'd make it work. "Marshmallowy stuff? Huh. Wha' 'bout tha sours?" That was what he'd munch on, a little.
Due to a couple of quick choices he didn't leave up to her, they were indeed getting close to the mall. He patted his pocket, checking the things he'd brought for trade. Of course, they stood a fair chance of being able to intimidate shopkeepers into 'trading,' too.

The sours merited some thought. They weren't technically sweets, but they did make her feel all grown-up and she had developed a taste for them what with always eating Ikkaku's stuff to spite him. "They got enough for us both," she finally concluded. "You'll see, Ken-chan, they got so much candy." Her eyes glazed over a little. Thankfully she was at least too old to drool.
"We're there!" She snapped out of her reverie just in time to squeal, pointing at the mall. Seeing him check his pocket she leaned forward and dangled head-down, poking at the pocket in question. "Neh, Ken-chan, you gots money? You think they'll want money?"

"Yeah? Good. Though ya get first pick." He didn't need candy. It was just nice to munch on.
"Heh. Yep. Good job directin'." Maybe long enough would train both of their abilities to find their way around the place. And maybe it wouldn't. Even if she never changed, he wouldn't be frustrated by it. She was Yachiru. Kenpachi nodded. "If they ask fer it, I got it. Heard some o' 'em were, an' I ain't had reason ta spend it before. But I figure maybe if we grin big enough they ain't gonna be askin'."
With a giant grin, Kenpachi plowed dashed through the mall doors and in, looking for a candy shop.

She laughed and clapped at her navigational skills being praised - not that she doubted them for a moment, mind you - but the next instant was already mesmerized by the activity, colors and sounds around the mall. It was chibigami heaven, it was, full of weird shiny things and noises and people, and now that Ken-chan was here it was all hers and she could share all the wonderful things with him. Candy, toys, pets, more candy, more toys, even more candy...
Candy, right around the corner. She could smell it. Right there.
"HELLO!"
The shopkeep was not about to have a good day...
