Fletcher came wandering into the kitchen, Dart curled around his neck and shoulders. Thanks to the help of Hakuba and Tsunade, Dart would be okay and would fly again. Fletcher had made sure to be very insist that he was not to fly for a few days, though. He wanted to make sure his dragonhawk was truly better before he did that.

Now, though, he couldn't find his PCD... He'd set it on his desk earlier... "Brother?" he asked, popping his head into the kitchen. "Have you seen my PCD? I can't find it..."

It was clear that recent events had taken their toll on him. He looked... like he was just going through motions and not his usual cheerful self. His eyes even looked dull.

"I put it away," Russell said evenly as he stirred the cocoa into the two cups of hot milk. He could not budge if Fletcher insisted. It was painful to see just how listless the younger boy was. The technology in this world was very harmful. The two of them had gone through troubling times before but at least the pain stemming from other people was dulled from the time gap or distance.

Fletcher blinked at his brother in confusion. "Put it away where?" He paused for a second. "Am I in trouble...?" He finally noticed what Russell was making. Russell usually only made hot chocolate to cheer him up...

"Brother..." Fletcher trailed off, looking down at the ground. He was grateful Russell was trying but... so much had happened.

"Don't worry about it. You're not in trouble but I think the two of us need some time away from those devices. Sometimes having too much contact with everyone is a bad thing. It's overwhelming," Russell said gently. He finished stirring and then brought the two cups to the table, placing one where Fletcher normally sat and then sat himself in his own chair.

"Come on. It's been a while since we've had hot chocolate together."
