Russell sighed as he placed both PCDs on top of the bookshelf. It was a place that was easy enough to retrieve them from if they really needed it but difficult for Fletcher to find. He had a feeling that Fletcher needed some time away from the chaos that gripped the area even if he did not leave the front yard. The boy was not himself at all and why would he? He had seen so many horrific things. First Hiiro and Yuffie. And now Alfonse. Russell wasn't someone who got close to people very easily but he knew Fletcher was the sensitive one of the two of them. He wished that he could do more to protect his brother from emotionally damaging things.
They couldn't move away like they normally would; just where would they go? It would just put them in danger. So if they could not go anywhere new, he could at least block everything out.
He went into the kitchen, thankful that he had found another tin of powdered cocoa the other day, and started making hot chocolate. The crops were all harvested and preserved or ready for people to pick up so there was nothing to take time away from him. Fletcher needed all his time now.
