Gon hurried along the beach following Killua's footsteps, a fishing rod in his hand. Right now, he was in a great mood! He had been a little upset when he found himself waking up somewhere far away from where he should be - Training to hurry up and rescue Kite. But as long as he could get back to the same time he came from, there was no problem right ( ... )

Killua caught the rod before pointing to a bucket he'd set down on the ground before he'd started his little run. "Yeah, I don't know what's best to have or anything, but some of the shops that popped up with the beach were giving it out. I got a couple different kinds, just in case," he replied. Gon would know a lot more about bait than he did. Everything Killua knew about fishing, Gon had taught him anyway.

He looked over the rod a bit, bending it as if to test what Gon had said about its sturdiness. Jeez. He really knew how to make these things.

"Great!", Gon exclaimed as he bent over to take a closer look on what Killua had in that bucket. All of it seemed like great things for catching ordinary fish... But then again, they weren't looking for ordinary fish.

"Killua. I wonder if these dried worms will really bring out a real sea monster...?", he asked as he pierced one of those worms through the hook of his fishing rod and prepared to cast his lure.

Well, how was he supposed to know what sea monsters ate, huh? He'd heard of whales that didn't eat anything but plankton. The boy pouted slightly, but shook it off as he hopped down to bait his own hook. "We can just catch bigger bait with this bait. It can't be that hard, right?" he huffed though not really in a bad mood. "I guess it makes sense that something bigger would attract more fish, but there weren't any shops selling sea monster bait."
