Jyonouchi didn't like this atmosphere at all. Not at all. This place gave him the creeps to say the very least and it didn't help that he had a natural fear for occult things.
It seemed like the scenario of the next horror-movie with all those mirrors, darkness and sobbing. Wait a minute. Sobbing? Was there actually someone crying? With once, Jyonouchi forgot the whole atmosphere that usually made him afraid and searched for the source of the sobbing. Perhaps someone was lost here?

Lost was certainly one way to put it. The possible presence of another didn't change that sense of confusion about him, but when Juudai looked up slightly, it was as though he wasn't actually seeing Jyonouchi at all -- more like he was looking through and beyond him, like the other was partially translucent, or that Juudai himself was partially blinded by his own grief.

"Why... why...? I won, I beat him, I killed him... but they still were sacrificed... still didn't come back... why?! Why isn't that enough?! I had everyone's trust and hope... still, stillHe almost felt faintly amazed he still had the energy to raise his voice like he was doing after so long sitting in here and weeping pathetically for himself. And the more he spoke, the more his throat hurt, the more it grew raw and clenched and scratchy, but calming down was absolutely beyond him now ( ... )

Jyonouchi blinked as he spotted a certain boy sitting there and - what Jyonouchi caught from his words - was drowning in self-pity once again. Not that he could properly judge anything, but he knew that both Johan and Manjyome were very worried about Judai and apparantly, a certain personality-change that boy had been through which both of them couldn't properly explain.

Jyonouchi hadn't really any idea how to approach the boy so he did that what he was best in - just being himself. That would be the easiest and best way for him now even if the other one may glance at him with piercing looks.

"Hey!", he waved at him. "What are you doing here all alone?"

Juudai came to a sudden stop, hearing the voice but apparently debating whether to acknowledge it or not. Uncurling his body somewhat from the impossibly small knot he'd turned it into, he glanced up at Jyonouchi rather pathetically, his large eyes an unnatural, sickly, dead sort of amber -- the same amber color as Haou's, but not nearly as vivid and without that certain inflexible will burning behind them.

"What...?" he choked out thickly, throat dry and voice subdued. The look he gave him, however, was anything but piercing this time, as this was much unlike the Juudai who had been so cold and callous not so long ago. It was more uncomfortable than anything, having someone coming in and finding him when he'd been left alone to reflect for so long. "What are you doing here...? How did you get here?"

When Manjyome opened his eyes, what he saw was neither his usual room nor one of his usual dreams. The pressure of this place, that seemed to consist of mere blackness, was almost unbearable, but he was sure that it had to be a dream.

It took him some time to notice the mirrors this place was filled with and as he wandered about them he thought about what he would find behind the next one, if he would find anyone or anything here at all.
Something told him that he would not meet Asuka this time.

Whether he was aware of the second presence and just ignoring it, or completely oblivious, Juudai did not glance up at first, huddled in a tight ball in the center of the "room" with his head down. He spoke this time, convinced no one would answer him -- as no one ever had before -- but it made him comfortable to hear the sound of his own voice somehow, despite how illogical and useless speaking was ( ... )
