Zelos sneezes, loudly and violently. Stupid sand. He opens his eyes and surveys the landscape as he hadn't been able to do since the sand tickled his nose. He rubbed at it as he looked around. "A desert?" He can see villages each way he looks. "...I suppose any direction is as good as any other." He mutters and set's off, heading towards an open, welcoming village he could see.

A little redheaded boy walks over to Zelos from the village, looking up. His red eyes are sad but there is a smile on his face. "Hi," he says in a small voice. "Did you want to play, Mister?"

Zelos stops and crouches next the boy. He LIKES kids. "Hi kiddo. Play? Sure." Zelos smiles warmly at the little red-haired child, noting the sad red eyes. "You can call me Zelos."

Little Gojyo reaches up and touches Zelos' hair. "Your hair matches mine. Are you bad too?" He studies Zelos' eyes. They aren't red, which didn't fit that picture. But red hair and red eyes went together, as far as he knew. "There're a lotta places to play. But not many toys. They're all in the bad village. We could make sandcastles?"

Ginia stared at the roomful of nubile and scantily dressed women sprawled out on velvet cushions, her eye beginning to twitch just slightly. If this was someone's idea of a mindspace...

Ignoring their offers of wine and sensual pleasure, she turned and stormed out of the building, quietly grumbling to herself and only stopping when she realized she was in the middle of a desert. Shielding her eyes from the sun, she looked for the next nearest location and spying another village, stepped toward it.

The little redheaded boy joined her after she leaves the harem village. He didn't go into those places, they weren't for him. He looked up at her, a bit of worry in his face. He doesn't know what to make of another adult woman here, one that's fully-dressed.

"Hi," he said. "You don't look angry." That was a good sign, right?

Ginia stopped walking at the sight of the boy, looking at him curiously before it clicked in her mind.

"...You must be Gojyo," she said gently, kneeling down so she was closer to his eye level and resisting the urge to hug him and risk scaring him off. "Are you here alone?"

A part of her hoped he was alone if it meant his mother wasn't around. Because if she was, she wouldn't have any qualms against giving her a good punch to the jaw.

He studied her for a moment, unsure. "I'm Gojyo," he confirmed. "You're not yelling." Gojyo looked around at the villages. "There's people here. 'm not alone." It was a little defensive. He didn't need a strange woman attacking her because he was out alone.

But she was kneeling instead of attacking, and talking instead of yelling. Maybe he could give her a chance. "I don't talk to them, though. They're all busy. Who are you?" He reached out and touched the corner of her mouth with a hesitant fingertip. "You should smile."

Well, that was another surprising lanscape. Unohana was not sure of where exactly she was, but this did not feel like her own mind. It had never been so desertic.

There was no point in standing around, so she decided to walk to the nearest open village, which turned out to be largely made of toys. Which did not help her know whose mind this was exactly.

A little Gojyo showed up outside the village, but not too close to Unohana or it. It was a bad village, and she was a grown-up woman. He swallowed. He didn't want anyone getting hurt, or his mommy getting free, but he didn't want the woman's attention either. "That's dangerous," he finally said, just loud enough to carry.

The key, though, had other plans. It fell down at Unohana's feet, shrinking to a manageable size, as if inviting her to come in.

Unohana considered the key and picked it up, but did not use it right away. Instead, she moved closer to the boy, examining his red hair and eyes and coming to the obvious conclusion.

"I am sorry, Gojyo-san, it appears that I am lost. You are saying that what is locked in here is dangerous ?"

He stepped back as she approached, not too far, but enough to keep about a foot away from her. Wide eyes studied her. She had the key, but she wasn't yelling. "You know my name?"

Gojyo's eyes went down to her hand and he nodded. "She doesn't like bominanations. And she's big. Bigger than you. Bigger than anyone except sometimes Jien is bigger." He pointed out at the desert. "There are other cities."

Duo paused, looking around at the different villages for a moment. While it looked familiar, the village based on Adstringendum sort of seemed a little uninviting simply based on the fact that it had giant meat buns wandering around. Duo'd seen some weird stuff, but that was just nuts. Instead, he decided to try one of the more festive looking villages first.

An older Gojyo, a bit beaten-up, joined Duo as he approached one of the harem villages. "You've got taste, then? Some of these women are pretty fucking hot. Are you ready to handle action?" He grinned at the newcomer, and recognition slowly filled his eyes. "Duo? Is that you?"

Duo blinked.

"Yeah... it's me..." He looked Gojyo over. "Damn... you look like hell. What happened?" he asked.

He grinned at Duo and relaxed. "Shit here and there. Life happens. I go on. I'll keep going on until I'm dead, and then hell, maybe I'll still go on. Nice to know I look good, though, in case someone pretty drops by." Gojyo laughed. "I've got plenty of pretty here, though. You want to see?" He gestured towards the building with the smallest amount of neon. "These are the ones that don't need any sort of advertisement."

Well, there it was. Goku hadn't quite believed Gojyo when he had been talking about a giant meat bun monster, but when there was one walking around about a hundred feet in front of you, it was hard not to believe. As tempted as he was, though, he turned away from it, and nearly did a double-take.

"Aww, what the hell!? Did Gojyo drag me out here as a joke or somethin'!? Why's there a desert in the middle of the city!?"

"I didn't drag anyone out here, stupid," said a small voice behind Goku. "You showed up here." Little Gojyo eyed the new kid. "There's a city in the middle of the desert. Lots of cities. Who are you? You know my name." He watched the other, wondering if he was going to be replaced.

"Huh?" Turning around, Goku had to do a double take again. This kid looked like Gojyo, but Gojyo wasn't a kid!

"U-uh, I'm Goku...is that you, Gojyo? Seriously?" Maybe it was one of the thousands of illegitimate kids that Gojyo probably had running around or something. Or maybe it just looked like Gojyo. Or maybe his mind was playing tricks on him.

Gojyo looked at the other kid. "You know my name too? Hi, Goku." He shrugged. "I'm me? I'm always me. I can't be someone else. I've tried." He looked sad for a moment, but then he perked up. "Are you here to play with me?"
