Kobato liked it. Colorful, sweet... She found it a comfortable place at first. It took her some steps around to realize something was off. It was all beautiful and bright, but there was nothing alive in there.
"Hello?" she called.
"Ioryogi-san?" no answer.
Then she realized there was movement behind her. When she turned back, she could see those strange eyes staring at her, and she stared back at them. Kobato didn't find them scary, she found them lonely.
He tilted his head, rotated it till it was upside down and pressed his face out from between the bright items. His mouth hung open a little in surprise and when he exhaled it echoed through this whole world.
Aside from calm breathing he made no noise. No, he waited.
The girl smelled sweet and he liked sweetness. Curiously he pushed his arms out in the open, a sharp contrast to the bright items as his skin was covered in dirt, and the little hands dripping with something the color of blood. For a moment he was fascinated by this distraction, then he concentrated back on the girl.
He tried to grab her hand, waving his arms up and down, almost falling out of his lair.

She took a step towards him and stretched her hand a bit. "Come here, do you want to sit together and talk?"
