Yachiru had been keeping watch, for what she was never sure but she knew it needed to be done. Sometimes things attacked the city, and even though she knew she didn't have her nifty reaitsu anymore she would still fight to protect her friends just like Kenchan taught her.

When she heard Kenchan approach she smiled widely and looked up at him hopefully. They hadn't been spending much time together, and she missed him. "Yeah! Where d' ya wanna go?" She paused, wrinkling her nose. "What're we lookin' for?"

Kenpachi grinned and offered his shoulder. "Wanna talk ta ya 'bout tha'. Thinkin' o' lookin' fer somethin' fer Unohana. Kakashi said a potted flower plant'd be good." Even before he could really approach the idea of whether or not Unohana would be the slightest bit inclined towards something from him, it had to fly with Yachiru.

"An' we can go lookin' fer wha' ya want, too. New shoes, 'r clothin', whatever. Ain't been out wi' ya much."

Jumping up, Yachiru quickly scrambled up to her rightful place. "Braidy-taichou? She's real nice, and pretty! I bet she'd like a plant, she's good at takin' care o' things!" Yachiru liked Unohana, but was confused as to why Kenchan wanted to buy her something. Maybe it was a thank you present for fixing him up!

"I dunno what I want but I'm sure we'll find somethin'! Yeah, we don' play as much!"

He wasn't sure she'd gotten what he was saying. That wasn't a huge surprise, his skills did not lay in being subtle, and she didn't look at the world from an adult perspective. "It's more'n tha fact tha' she's nice. Think I'm wantin' ta spend more time wi' her. Dunno if she wants a plant, but it's tha best idea I've got fer her."

He nodded and headed out the door, now that she was secure. It felt right, walking around like this with her. "Where too first? Lookin' fer a plant shop, 'r lookin' fer somethin' fer ya? An' this is already yers." He held the small bag of candy up for her.
