I woke up Monday morning on vacation. The weather sucked.

Unlike all other mornings, this time I did not stand for it. I was not going to accept bad weather on my vacation day, so I immediately got on the Shatner Web Site and booked a flight to Dallas, Texas, and one night in the four-star Hyatt Regency.

2007 was a mixed bag, and a shallow bag at that. I always have had a superstition that the odd years are good and the even ones bad, but that trend seems to have bucked and I have no fear for 2008.
