A strange look back

I was looking for a specific older photo and went through a few old folders - for the fist time in ages. Looking at pictures I did about 10 to 15 years ago is a very strange feeling.
First of all they are both better and worse than I remember. Some are still beautiful to me - perhaps even more because of the nostalgia. They instantly bring back ( Read more... )

I occasionally read some of my earlier erotica on Literotica. Sometimes, it really stuns me what I thought was a good story then, or what readers thought was good when I had figured it was only mediocre.

happens to me a lot, too of course, but then there are some pieces that are a lot better than I would have thought :)

Wow, there she is...I still remember that character.
Yeah, I have this feeling when I think of the old songs we recorded with the old band on that gig. While my performance of the one song I still hold dear sucks badly, my performance of some of the others was better than I remembered.
I've also found a forever-unfinished story snippet on the comp yesterday, which I found I still like and would love to finish.

I haven't found that photo I think you are looking for on my PC....but I think I have one in an album. Remind me to check that tonight, will you?

Oops, deleted some of the last comment.
Basically, I was saying that pic really brings up a lot of memories and a big smile on my face. You still have our story fragment around her, I guess?
Really need to read that again ;-)

My old roleplay chronicles. I wrote them for my Midgard group in which I played as I was living in Bielefeld. Solarion, the mage character I played there is still one of my dearest roleplay memories, as is his best friend, the rogue Issalia, played by MY best friend. Solarion lead a hard life, always longing for Issalia's love, until he found that her being his best friend was much better than sharing her bed now and then. Funnily, Solarion's later wife and Issalia became close friends, too. OMG, I loved that roleplay group.

I think everyone has those memories, I guess that justifies all those evenings staying indoors eating chips ;) ..

no, for real. I feel like that with some of my really old rpg experiences, too. Some of the oldest characters you build are special
