 I was looking for a specific older photo and went through a few old folders - for the fist time in ages. Looking at pictures I did about 10 to 15 years ago is a very strange feeling.
First of all they are both better and worse than I remember. Some are still beautiful to me - perhaps even more because of the nostalgia. They instantly bring back ( Read more... )

I 've been silent again, sorry .. seems that while I spend too much time on my computer and randomly browsing the net I don't have to say much, usually.

 I'm proud to show you sophia13 s picture. Not only did the dragon turn out very nicely I think, but together with some stories I've thought of, I may have finally developed a taste for drawing them .. (a better late than never thing for a fantasy artist I guess)

though I chose the sparse colors for the pirate lady on purpose it didn't quite win me over - especially as a scan (I think its not so bad in the original picture), so I decided to do a second version using a darker and more involved background. It makes her look a bit like a ghost but I like it a lot better..
