For the first time yesterday I went running as part of my new fitness program. I didn't die! Fun times.

Today has been a very long and very strange day. From watching the Castle museum explode to a sword fight in an Edwardian house it has been odd. But fun.

That was a fun weekend with old friends, drinking, poker, film and unexpected consequences.

Having checked the internet it turns out there aren't any good films on in York unless you like Sharks. So the current plan is:

16:00 - Drinks in the Evil Eye
Afterwards - some kind of film at my house with maybe some poker if we get the people

Everyone is free to turn up.

One of my old school friends is coming down to York this weekend for fun and exciting times. If people would be up for joining us I would suggest some kind of film in York on Saturday followed by Drinks in the Evil Eye or similar. I have arrived back in York safe and sound after my boating trip. Being the captain of a boat is fun. Now I'm going to drink heavily, listen to 90's Techno and bang my head against a wall.

According to my horoscope I will find new love "at 8pm this evening". That seems oddly specific.

I'd forgotten how much I missed the wintery freshness of oven cleaner burning through my lungs. Cleaning is fun!

I should be moving house on Sunday and my Internets cut off tomorrow. If anything important comes up I might not be able to respond by e-mail until Monday. Although if anything important does come up I'll be shocked.

Well I had a lot of fun at the last Maelstrom event. It was good to achieve some long-term character goals and see the system's power structure make another surprising shift. I think it helped that I went down on Thursday as I actually managed to socialise in the evening for once ( Read more... )

If anyone with a car wants to come to the next Odyssey and will give me and Marcus a lift from York I will pay for your event ticket! This actually works out cheaper than having to pay for the train fare.
