Comeuppance

Comeuppance is such a strange word. “To give what one deserves” I wonder if there is such a thing as good comeuppance? I am sure there is; the humans are notorious for their words having several unrelated and/or contradictory meanings. I imagine this is asking for the bad sort of comeuppance as that kind is more interesting.
I am reminded of a ( Read more... )

I know perhaps this is none of my business, but if you don't mind my asking...How was Na'Loth placed into slavery? Since the Occupation it's not exactly common for my people to find themselves in such a position and I'm curious to learn what happened. As well as if she was able to complete her Shon'Kar.

OOC- not sure if that is the best question to ask but i'm dying ot know about your OC so i thought i'd give it a whirl ;)

I am not sure exactly how she came into slavery. I suspected it was a matter of pride and did not ask. I do know that during the Earth-Minbari war she was sold by a Narn to a Centauri. He was very vicious and cruel. He was beating her one night and she bit off one of his fingers. His wife felt sorry for her, Na'Loth was by Centauri standards a child about 15 of your years I believe. His wife sold Na'Loth to a human before her husband got a chance to torture her for the incident. The human brought her to the Mars Colony. That is where Trakis, my slaver, purchased her and we met.

Her Shon'Kar, I can not be sure but since I recently received a package that contained a pair of bloody Narn gloves... too big to be hers. I would say yes. It is her style to send me such a gift, something that is both respectable and distasteful. Also, She knew where he was on Narn and he wasn't expecting her.

He frowns at the mention of a Narn selling her to a Centauri. Such things werent unheard of but it still gives him great disgust to learn such situations still existed.

At her explanation of the Shon'Kar he gives a hearty laugh as this reminds him very much of his own friend Na'toth.

I'm sorry that she was tricked by such a creature, but it pleases me that she was able to exact her revenge. I rather like her style reminds me of my friend Na'toth.

If you don't mind asking now that she is no longer enslaved what does she do? What is her duty?

Adira Laughs with Ta'Lon about the gift

I have head of Na'Toth, She works with Ambassador G'Kar?

Na'Loth was training to be a warrior.. now well, I think there is a more profitable job that she could fulfill with some of the things I have taught her. Adira smiles obviously pleased with the situation i am not sure. She is suppose to contact me when she finds her family. I am sure she will ell me.
