It snowed again on Thursday morning. The roads were OK, but I kept to the main routes I knew were sure to have been ploughed and gritted. The weather reports keep saying there is more snow on the way, and the next three weeks are going to be extremely cold

When Mum and I saw it, we didn't think of the fact that there could be subtitles used... which she cannot see. I started trying to hurriedly whisper what Cruise was saying in the beginning before she told me to just "give up on that." Thankfully, they switched to English soon after so she didn't miss out on what was being said!

How did your mum cope with the "what happened to them all" text at the end? Couldn't she see that, either? I don't know if it was bigger text than the subtitles had been.
