Jun knew that he should’ve been resting the moment their plane took off, but he just couldn’t.
He was tired, physically; being assigned to do some filming in America was such an amazing experience, even more when he got to do it with his lover, who was now sitting beside him and looked like he was going to fall asleep anytime soon. Jun knew that they should sleep; the moment they arrived at Japan, they only have a few hours before they have to start filming for their variety shows, and they need the energy to look presentable in front of the camera.
But really, even though Jun was really tired, he found himself fishing his notes out of his bag, rereading the schedule and calculating the time of everything - including their time of arrival, and also the time for them to go back home for a quick shower and maybe a quick nap before going back to the studio. “We’ve got a tight schedule here.” He muttered then, half expecting that his lover would give him at least a simple respond.
But there was none.
Jun looked to his side, and he found his lover already had his eyes closed, head lolled to the side with his small lips half-opened. He looked like he was already in a deep sleep, and it kinda surprised Jun since it hasn’t even been half an hour since they were boarding, but then again, it was understandable; they were having a blast in America after all.
The moment they’ve been told that the next filming for their variety show was in America, the pair has accepted it happily; anything to spend some quality time together was much welcomed. And so, even though technically they were working, it almost felt like a date - or maybe a honeymoon but Jun was too embarrassed to state the idea to his simple-minded and unassuming lover, so he told him that it felt like a date instead. They’ve got to enjoy their time a lot, eating here and there and going to famous places just like any other tourists, but the time that Jun enjoyed the most was when the camera stopped rolling, because that was when he was given a free time to spend with his lover, who was none other than Ohno Satoshi.
And Ohno, God, Ohno has been nothing but a sweet angel throughout their trip. Whenever the camera stopped rolling, he immediately sought Jun out, asking him to go out for a dinner with him or maybe for a drink, and every night, they’d ended up in either his or Ohno’s room, happy and cheerful and so drunkenly in love with each other.
Really, those were a good time; another precious memory that Jun had swore to remember for forever.
And this was a good memory too - the sight of Ohno sleeping peacefully, the dimmed lights of the cabin, the dark, cloudy sky that could’ve been seen from outside the window.
This was another perfect moment.
Without thinking that someone else might find out or that the stewardesses could’ve walked by, Jun bent down a bit and he kissed Ohno’s lips chastely, lips lingering for a while as he was savoring the moment. He knew Ohno’s lips by heart now; he knew every dips and curves of it, how soft it felt against his mouth, and yet every kiss felt as good as their first. Jun had kissed Ohno a lot before; and just now, on their trips, they kissed a lot every night as they hide under the cover, staring at each other lovingly as they stole kisses from each other and giggled every time the other did it. At that moment, everything was perfect.
And this was too.
Pulling away slightly, Jun then placed another kiss on Ohno’s forehead tenderly; as if afraid he’d wake Ohno up. Ohno stirred, but he showed no intention to wake up; the older man snuggled on Jun instead, resting his head against Jun’s shoulder with a small smile on his face, and that made Jun smiled too. “I love you.” He whispered to the top of Ohno’s head. “I love you so much.”
He received no answer, but that was okay. He knew the answer anyway.
Stuffing his notes back to his bag, Jun decided that he should rest; the schedules were damned - it’d all work out somehow anyway.
And so, he rested his head too on top of Ohno’s head - he was sure that when they woke up in this position, it’d hurt a lot. He also knew that when they woke up they had to immediately force the words ‘tired’ and ‘holiday’ out of their heads - they had to be focused for their works after all, and they couldn’t be all lovey-dovey anymore.
But right now, they were above the clouds where not even the schedule could touch them, at least for a while, and Jun intended to take advantage of it fully.
So he rested his head on top of Ohno’s head, and he closed his eyes.
There was warmth. There was the sweet smell of Ohno’s shampoo. There was Ohno’s soft snoring that could only be heard by him.
And they all enveloped Jun as they guided him to sleep.
