I'm about halfway through it. Despite assertions to the contrary, it's very very put-down-able. For a start, Dan Brown cites Zimmerman and Schneier as renowned cryptologists. I'm the only person in the flat, and I've settled down with a good book.

I could listen to Genesis all afternoon and nobody would be any the wiser. I'm quietly aware that there's a record shop not 20 minutes away which happens to be desperately trying to flog their albums at three-for-a-pound, and my flatmate inherited some too.

Muhahaha!

Today I wanted to watch something on my friend's computer. Said computer is running windows. I couldn't get the top/bottom bar to disappear after pausing it, even after restarting the player. Well, two posts ago I thought I'd play with tags. I've since removed them after an insight about how they seem to work: as an or operation rather than as an and operation. There are two kinds of blog: the kind where you can pick up reading whenever, and the kind when it's best to start at the beginning. Why is it that no blogs I have come across yet seem to have a "sort date ascending/descending" link? It'd be so handy!
