shamelessly stolen from Siren's Pull

Aug 18, 2011 17:36

Suddenly, shocking news: the community has autonomously posted a bulletin warning everyone that in just a few hours, it'll be shutting down permanently. Worldhopping will cease to work, and wherever people are when the countdown reaches zero, that's where they'll be stuck ( Read more... )

How goes packing, Azula?

[There's a creeper outside the window, creeping.]

[Has packed a bag of her belongings, and deciding on which world to stay in permanently. She does not want to return to Endiness since she will be confine to Ulara, and the Dreaming, though nice, isn't really meant to keep people from the waking world for long term. She does have one place in mind, but is still a bit unsure about it.]

Having trouble?

[Sup! Kefka's making rounds to see everyone before the connections close.]

[Denzel has his things half packed, he pauses on in the packing. He can't decide if he wants to stay on his world and prove magic and fairies are actually real and never see or hear from his friends again or go live with Gellert but leave behind his fairy chasing obsession. The man holds his Fairy Tracker, he better make up his mind quickly or he will be stuck in a world that mocks him]

Fairy Godparents Exist. [Reading the back of the Tracker]

Having any luck, Crocker?

[Kefka's at the window, keeping an eye on Crocker.]

[Flipping out at the sudden voice that distributed his thoughts]OW! [Getting himself up. That voice sounded familar. Eyeing around] Kefka?!

[Going to the slighly broken window and pressing one set of fingers on that]

What are you doing here? [Wondering if Kefka came to say good bai, at least that's what is showing in his eyes]

What luck?

I wanted to say goodbye before the worlds closed up! Also to give you a worldhop and blow up this ungrateful world for you, if you want!

[He tumbles in through the window, a mess of wings and giggles, and pops up.] I have to help my allies and destroy everything else as much as I can before time runs out, after all!

[He's stalking his tower, muttering to himself and making a mess of his hair.]

Do I have enough time to destroy it all? Or should I move away? Or.....

[In the case of an 'emergency' such as this, Yukari has a single goal. Find the people she deems "interesting"... and then forcibly take them to Gensokyo. If her gap boundaries wouldn't be able to access other worlds soon, then she might as well make the best of it, right?

Of course, she comes across Kefka ranting and raving to himself, and can't help but give her two cents... whether he knows she's there or not.]

Why destroy it all? Just destroy most of it. Let the rest rebuild, start to get hope again... and destroy again. It's slow, but you get the most suffering for the least work.

Yes, but there's worldhopping to keep in mind. I'm not sure how many worlds I can hit up before it gets turned off!

[He paces a few more steps before slowing, stopping, and turning to her.]

How'd you get in? The monsters didn't raise a racket.

Eh, let them be. If you can't go back there, then it's basically just wasted effort - there's no point in ending lives if you can't witness it first hand.

[At that question, she steps back into the wall without looking. Surprisingly, a ribbon-adorned seam appears and opens up, revealing a Geiger-esque eye-filled emptiness that she steps into before it seals up again.]

Time and space are a remarkably easy boundary to step through. So that's what I did. I walked from my world to yours. After this I'll likely be just as stuck in a single world as you will, however.

[Her voice is coming from behind Kefka. She stepped back into the wall and then ended up behind him. Teleportation, or something else?]

But I've made so many friends!

[Soft laugh.]

Well, if you'd like to come here...but how will you get home?

Reply

sandinmyboots August 20 2011, 20:17:15 UTC
Eh, I'm going home and using my resources to tunnel back to your world!

[So confident, this one.]
