I used to watch that show on Nickolodean when I was a kid. Great show.

I totally hear ya about people leaving LJ for Facebook but I've always preferred LJ. I've been on here for almost 10 years and can't fathom not having it. I actually just discovered these add me communities early last year and since then have made a lot of friends that actually update on here on a fairly regular basis and seem to care about LJ. I've seen such a huge increase in activity on my friends list. It's great to see.

Facebook has its uses. Among other things, I think it's better than a blog for promoting my books. But it's no place for anything with any depth to it.

Hi Bob - I've lost most of my friends' list to Facebook as well. I'm dithering around in a corporate job, trying to find that balance between making a living and having a life. I'm poor at posting these days, but I do comment. Would love to follow your blog.

Great! Welcome aboard. It took me a very long time to find my balance between the day-job world and the rest of my life. Finding the right balance takes time and effort, but it can be done.
