i tip according to if the waiter checked up on us... gave us refills when needed... was upbeat and friendly... you know did their job properly... and at least 15%.... i hate people who don't tip at all (and im not even a waitress...)

Yeah, but this wasn't really commentary on how much people tip for service. I did give these people a window of 10-20%, as I said above. My comment is that service should affect how much a server gets, not coupons.

i know and that is why i stated i tip if they do a good job... and that i tip well

I never not leave a tip. Even if the service was absolutely positively horrible (in that case, I leave 2 cents, for my two cents' worth. But that rarely happens).
