OK, I'm calmer now and can comment without having a little hissy fit...

I'm assuming he's doing that respect thing...you know, the one when he respects her to much to take, what he thinks is, advantage of her. Little does he know that she wants to take advantage of him...LOL

You guys killed me at the ending, but it was a great cliffhanger. Loved the tension throughout the whole scene. Why couldn't they show scenes like this in the old movies? Can't wait fot the next chapter.

The censor board! LOL! Although the mentioned Woman of the Year has some very hot moments, as well as Notorious and The Lady Eve jump to mind for some great kisses that aren't the usual smashed faces of the era.

Hee, I remember learning Notorious managed to sneak that extremely long kissing scene around the censors by having them come up for air here and there, so that technically it wasn't all one kiss. Ohhhh 40s movie censor boards. :)

Cary Grant generally does really good kissing in his movies! Yummy! Eve Saint Marie is a total stick, but their kisses in North by Northwest are considered some of the hottest Code era kisses. It was Hitchcock's direction, apparently, something I don't even want to think about. *covering eyes*
