There is nothing I can think to say about this except that it is perfect.
I've always liked the idea of Sam getting powers from grace, but never did it cross my mind that it could be so amazing to read! This definitely brightened my whole day.

Aww, thank you. The original prompt asked for Sam with some of Lucifer's grace, and I just had a lot of fun with the initial idea and how horrified and overwhelmed Sam would be.

Gosh, that was gorgeous. There was a real sense of scale, of the epic power and the connection to something huge, and also the enormous significance of something so small, like that kiss and the declaration of love. Really excellent :).

I just love all of the mentions on the show about how big and scary and awesome angels are. They can teleport, time travel, explode things, put things back together, eat raw meat without getting food poisoning... So yeah, I got a real kick out of dumping Sam in the middle of that :)

Ah, the angels <3. In S4 in particular, when they were mysterious and powerful and alien and destroying things with just a voice and burning out eyes with a glimpse, and what it meant for Anna to fall and Castiel to question and Uriel to change sides, and the scope of Zachariah being able to go all Matrix on them... so incredibly cool.

Definitely a sense of sudden, overwhelming and terrifying power for Sam there as everything went mad around him, and Castiel putting it back together. Awesomesauce :).

This fic originally started with the idea that Sam just exploded things that were a threat without having any control over it. So Cas, being the best teacher ever, just throws shit at Sam until he figures out how to not blow things up. They go through plates, and bottles, and shoes, and rocks, and then one day Cas just pulls a puppy out of his trench coat and Sam is all "NO" and Cas is all "YOU HAVE TO LEARN SOMEHOW".

But then this happened instead.

No way man, I have this weird thing where if you take something that could have been fluffy and make it angsty and kinda dark but give it a happyish ending I will love it like a million times more than if it were just fluffy. So this is basically perfect for me and my weirdly morbid self XD
