[Hellball] Results!

Okay, so I submitted Hellball to the Iron MACE Game Chef last Thursday. I was supposed to drive down to MACE with drivingblind on Friday afternoon but my stupid cat decided to go on an adventure and I spent ten hours looking for him. You zeroed in on a concept for Iron MACE that resonated. I think your win was deserved, regardless of the competitive elements.

I think Hellball would be a hoot to play (with some necessary changes) and I don't even like football.

I forgot to mention that the other entry by "Tobes" was unofficially disqualified; He had actually written the entire game five years ago, and somehow didn't realize it would be bad to submit it.

But looking over the scores, he was in last place anyway.

Woody Allen, vile a human being he may be, said that "80 percent of success is showing up." Prior to a few months ago, I wasn't showing up. I made excuses and didn't make game design the priority it should have been considering how important it was to me internally. I'll take my victory, even if I only really beat Mark Causey's unfinished game and Tobes' disqualified game. <=)

And I'll take my gaming loot, thank you very much. Yay!
