Countless Resumes Sent = 1 Job Prospect

I can't even count how many companies have received my resume. I've received a call from 1 recruiter so far and that didn't amount to much. I did, however, get a job prospect last Friday which isn't quite... if that makes sense.

....As my mom is in the other room, reading a James Patterson novel....I can't help but be excited for you. That'd be terribly neat.

And hey, you may not have "web-publishing experience" professionally, but you certainly have plenty of web-"publishing" experience, if you get my meaning ^_^ Sounds like an awesome job.

Good luck! I hope things pan out for this job. I know James Patterson is so commercial but I do like most of his work. What is web publishing?

Web publishing is basically promoting their books over the web. It (and this job) includes: Copywriting, writing blogs, writing e-newsletters, and social networking (MySpace, LJ, Friendster, etc., etc.). The job will require me to do all that AND I will apparently be receiving manuscripts to edit for a bunch of books as well, mainly for African American Lit, Art, and Sci-Fi. If I get this job... it seems too good to be true. I feel like it's something I want so much, therefore I can't possibly get it!!
